When I do tribute covers, I tend to go for deep cuts to show my love for the artist. For my Metallica tribute, I specifically wanted to pay tribute to Lars and his skills as a song arranger. Youâll see Iâm wearing a shirt in the drum track video that pays tribute to him as well. I do an 8 count to start the song off just like he did for the live version. i made some mistakes here, but this song is about finding inspiration in even the most troubling places in your life, so even with the mistakes (and the video cutting out at the very end), it's still a journey. i relate to this song very much. Thanks!
